Lisa DuPree, MS, NBC-HWC, ACSM-EP®Director, Health 1,2,3,4 Program

Biography

Lisa DuPree has over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness field as a health and fitness specialist, master trainer, health educator and health and wellness coach. Her current focus is on education and implementation of evidence-based strategies that empower individuals to enhance health and optimize overall well-being.

As the Director of the Health 1,2,3,4 program, she has been instrumental in the design and execution of this novel academic endeavor. After a decade of experience in corporate wellness working with adult professionals to improve their health, it became clear to her that the time to have set in place healthy habits was decades earlier. Ms. DuPree notes that it has been a special opportunity to engage and empower young adults at a critical time of their life. Establishing a meaningful framework within which undergraduates can develop healthy lifestyle patterns is a legacy she hopes will continue beyond their years at Emory.
