Fatima WaseemHealth Educator

Biography

Fatima Waseem joined the Health 1,2,3,4 team as a Health Educator in the fall of 2021. She currently holds a bachelor's degree in Human Health from the Emory College of Arts and Sciences - minoring in Theater Studies. She received her MPH with a concentration in Healthcare Management from the Emory Rollins School of Public Health, where she completed over 400 hours of supervised practice in community settings and worked on HIV vaccine trials recruitment and retention. She has held multiple teaching positions during her career along with being a Peer Health Partner during her time at Emory as an undergrad! Upon graduating, she is now involved with research relating to chronic diseases in vulnerable populations. She has a strong belief in educating and empowering students with the tools that Health 1,2,3,4 provides to better mental health on campus, and hopes to expand the program.
