Double Major in Human Health and Arabic

Why did you choose your major/minor offered from the Human Health department?
I chose human health for a number of reasons, but primarily for its emphasis on humanity in healthcare. Whether it be directly associated with care, or with the collaboration of local organizations to achieve a larger health goal and outcome.

If applicable, when you complete your major/minor from the Human Health program, what's next for you after graduation?
After graduation, I will head to Georgetown University for my Master's in the Science of Nursing! I hope to take all that I have learned here at Emory and use it to give back to my community in DC!

What advice do you have for someone considering a major/minor in Human Health at Emory?
If you want to do any person-to-person work, become a Peer Health Partner! It not only deepened my understanding of my own health but also allowed me to educate my peers further.

What part of the Emory experience do you enjoy the most?
My favorite part of the Emory experience is being surrounded by so much compassion and desire to fix deeply rooted issues in our community related to health, or perhaps not. I have never been surrounded by such caring people who show up every day, not just for themselves, but to help others.
