Biology BS with a Nutrition Science minor

Why did you decide to major/minor in Human Health at Emory?
Growing up, my mom instilled in me the importance of nutrition which piqued my interest. As I matured and became independent, I discovered the significant impact nutrition has on health. To make informed decisions for myself and to provide valuable recommendations to others, I endeavored to gain a thorough understanding of nutrition.

Once you receive your degree in Human Health at Emory, what's next for you?
I'm taking a gap year before I head to DPT school.

What advice do you have for someone considering a major/minor in Human Health at Emory?
Maximize your learning potential by absorbing as much information as possible from these knowledgeable professors. Allow them to guide you in the process of discerning the qualities of high-quality scientific articles.

What part of the Emory experience do you enjoy the most?
Spending time with friends at Emory is a significant part of my experience that brings me immense joy. As we navigate the challenges of college life, having a supportive community of friends has been invaluable. Whether we are studying together in the library, trying out new restaurants in Atlanta, or participating in various campus activities, spending time with my friends is always a highlight of my day. These shared experiences have helped me create lasting memories and have made my time at Emory all the more fulfilling. Through the ups and downs of college life, having close friends by my side has made a positive impact on my overall experience.
