Human Health BA & Economics BA Joint Major

Why did you decide to major/minor in Human Health at Emory?
I met some amazing faculty in my first semester of Emory who helped guide on my journey and I knew this was the major for me to understand healthcare through a unique, tailored and holistic approach. One of the best decisions I have ever made.

Once you receive your degree in Human Health at Emory, what's next for you?
I will be conducting research at Mount Sinai in Head and Neck Cancer in the Department of Otolaryngology with pursuits to attend medical school in the future.

What advice do you have for someone considering a major/minor in Human Health at Emory?
Take classes that go beyond your primary interest because I promise you will be surprised. Speak to faculty, they are a wealth of information and the beauty of the HH major at Emory is the faculty are not only professor but trailblazers in the fields they teach. Lastly, have fun it is a quick journey so make sure to slow down and look out the window you will be amazing to what you will see.

What part of the Emory experience do you enjoy the most?
Making amazing friends who share the same drive and curiosity as me, meeting professors who have become friends and mentors and lastly being able to be independent in my search for answers.
