Human Health

Why did you decide to major/minor in Human Health at Emory?
The coursework in the human health major allowed me to take a variety of classes I was genuinely interested in. It gave me the opportunity to pursue interest most closely related to my personal professional plans.

Once you receive your degree in Human Health at Emory, what's next for you?
I will be working as a research specialist at the Gavegano Group Lab here at Emory, where I will continue my work in the field of drug discovery whilst I prepare graduate school applications.

What advice do you have for someone considering a major/minor in Human Health at Emory?
Do it! No matter what your academic or professional goals are, there is something in the major for everyone. You will have the chance to receive an interdisciplinary education like no other, learning from experts in many different fields.

What part of the Emory experience do you enjoy the most?
Getting to make lasting connections and having the opportunities to work with faculty who are leaders in your field of interest has been a unique and impactful experience.
